FIR Registered Against Orry (Orhan Awatramani) and 7 Other for Consuming Alcohol Near Vaishno Devi Base Camp in Katra

Social media personality Orhan Awatramani aka Orry and his friends are in trouble with the Jammu and Kashmir Police. They're accused of drinking alcohol at a hotel in Katra, the town at the base of the Mata Vaishno Devi shrine. The hotel, Hotel Katra Marriott Resort and Spa, complained to the police, leading to action against Orry and eight others.

The police filed a First Information Report (FIR No. 72/25) after a photo circulated on social media on March 15. The photo showed Orry and his group partying in a hotel room with a liquor bottle. This caused anger because alcohol is banned in Katra.

According to Times Now, Orry, those accused include Russian citizen Anastasila Arzamaskina. The FIR lists Darshan Singh, Parth Raina, Ritick Singh, Rashi Dutta, Rakshita Bhogal, and Shagun Kohli as also being involved. They are accused of disobeying the District Magistrate's order and offending religious feelings. The party reportedly happened in the Cottage Suite area of the hotel. This area has strict rules against eating meat and consuming alcohol or drugs because it's close to the Vaishno Devi shrine, a very important Hindu pilgrimage site.

A police official from Reasi said a special team is investigating the case. Orry and the others will be asked to cooperate with the investigation. The Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of Reasi emphasized that anyone breaking the law, especially by drinking alcohol or taking drugs at religious sites, will face strict consequences.
