Get well soon: B-town celebs wish for speedy recovery of Amitabh, Abhishek Bachchan

With Bollywood legend, Amitabh Bachchan and his son hospitalised in Mumbai hospital after testing positive for COVID-19, celebrities from the film industry and other walks of life sent in their messages wishing the duo a speedy recovery.

Scores of actors including Dharmendra Deol, l Kapoor, singer Lata Mangeshkar, filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar wished and prayed for a speedy recovery of the father-son duo on social media.

Veteran singer Lata Mangeshkar took to Twitter and sent in her prayers and wishes, "Namaskar Amit ji. Aap aur Abhishek dono par bhagwan ki kripa hogi aur aap jald swasth hokar ghar aayenge aisa mujhe vishwas hai." (Both of you will be blessed by God and I am sure that you will get better soon.)

By sharing a picture of megastar Amitabh Bachchan, veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha join the fans of the actor in their prayers for the actors' speedy recovery. He tweeted, "As the entire nation prays for their favourite megastar@SrBachchan and talented, loving our own @juniorbachchan. I too join in sending healing prayers for their smooth and speedy recovery. We all love you. Regards to the family. God Bless! Get well soon."

Veteran actor Dharmendra Deol shared a tweet, "Amit, get well soon. I am sure of my courageous younger brother......he will soon be fit and fine in a day or two ...Jaya, don't worry...everything will be fine my brave baby...Look after yourself and everyone at home.....Love you all......take care."

Wishing and praying for the speedy recovery of Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan, veteran actor Madhuri Dixit extended her prayers, and noted, "Wishing you speedy recovery Amit ji. I hope you get well soon." "Take care Abhishek. My prayers are with you & your family for a speedy recovery," she sent tweeted in response to Abhishek's tweet.

Hema Malini shared wished for the good health of the stars who tested positive for coronavirus and posted on Twitter, "Amit ji has tested positive & has been admitted to Nanavati hospital. I pray for his well being & I'm sure that with all our collective prayers, he will come out of this safely."

"Get well soon brother," actor Randeep Hooda tweeted in a reply to Abhishek's tweet.

Celebrities including Tiger Shroff, Tusshar Kapoor, Urmila Matondkar, Kamal Hassan, Jimmy Shergill and Kirron Kher also extended their prayers for the speedy recovery of the father-son duo.

The 'Don' actor is reported to be in a "stable" condition with "mild symptoms" after testing positive for coronavirus on Saturday.

Amitabh has been admitted in the isolation unit at Mumbai's Nanavati Super Speciality Hospital. The actor has confirmed that he will keep updating via Twitter.

His son, actor Abhishek Bachchan also tested positive for COVID-19 last night, according to separate tweets by the two.
