Actor Suvo, who has played small roles in TV shows ‘Mangal Chandi’, ‘Manasa’, threatened to end his life on Facebook LIVE on June 8 after being unemployed for almost a year. Soon after the video went viral, police rushed to Shubho’s residence and managed to solve the situation. A police spokesperson said, “Yesterday night we got call from a Facebook user about the incident and rushed to help. He is safe. We spoke with Suvo’s sister too. ”On Tuesday night, the actor started a LIVE conversation on Facebook and spoke about his ordeal. He shared that after August 2020, he didn’t have much projects. Though the audience or makers praised his work, it didn’t help him professionally. He also lost his father a few months back.

Suddenly, he wrote ‘I quit’ and threatened to end his life by consuming sleeping pills. Soon, Suvo ended Facebook LIVE as well. It pushed the panic button for many users who were watching him LIVE. They informed the police immediately. Last year during lockdown, ‘Mangal Chandi’ was pulled off by the channel airing the show. Since last year’s lockdown, numerous cases of artists, technicians facing financial woes have come to light. Earlier,  senior actor Shankar Ghoshal, who was forced to ask for money from people on the streets, came out. After being out of work for a long while, Shankar was forced to approach others for help.
