Karisma Kapoor turns a year younger today and on the special occasion, her superstar sister Kareena Kapoor Khan penned a sweet message with a video montage. In her note, Kareena wrote, "Happy Birthday to the bravest, strongest, and the most precious woman I know... my sister, my best friend, my second mother and the centre of our family... Chinese food tastes even better when we eat it together. I love you like no one else... I also do wonder sometimes who the older sister is but that is the best part of having one... My lolo.
Earlier, Kareena hosted a birthday bash for Karisma at her Mumbai residence. Karisma made her Bollywood debut in 1991 with Prem Qaidi when she was just a teenager. She established herself as a successful star with hits such as Coolie No 1, Raja Hindustani, Dil To Pagal Hai, Biwi No 1 and Hum Saath-Saath Hain. Karisma’s last major film was Dangerous Ishhq in 2012, which was a critical and commercial failure. Last year, she ventured into the digital space with the ALTBalaji series Mentalhood, a show about modern-day parenting and its struggles. It also starred Dino Morea, Shruti Seth, Sandhya Mridul, Sanjay Suri, Shilpa Shukla and Tillotama Shome. Meanwhile, on the work front, Kareena will next be seen in ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ where she will be seen reuniting on screen with her ‘3 Idiots’ and ‘Talaash’ co-star Aamir Khan. The movie is the official Hindi remake of the Hollywood film, ‘Forrest Gump' that starred Tom Hanks in the lead role.
