Actor Ishita Raj marked World Earth Day with a heartfelt and visually soothing note, reminding her followers of the beauty and importance of the planet we call home.

Taking to social media, the actress shared a series of serene moments from her time in nature, ranging from snow-covered landscapes to lush green fields and quiet sunsets by the water. Alongside these calming visuals, she penned a simple yet powerful message: “One planet, The Earth. One family ,The Mankind. Keep it safe and beautiful!! Happy Earth Day.

Earth Day, observed every year on April 22, has grown into the world's largest environmental movement, bringing together over a billion people across 193 countries. It is not just a day of celebration but also one of awareness, activism, and education, encouraging both policy change and individual responsibility toward the planet. First observed in 1970 as a small grassroots initiative, Earth Day has since evolved into a powerful global call to action. Each year, it reminds people of the beauty and fragility of our planet while urging them to take meaningful steps, big or small, to protect it. Events worldwide include tree planting drives, clean-up campaigns, climate marches, educational seminars, and eco-friendly initiatives at corporate and community levels. Digital activism has also surged, allowing people to participate online through webinars, social media campaigns, and pledges.
