Karuppu Box Office Collection Day 4: Suriya-Trisha Krishnan’s Film Nears Rs 150 Crore Mark Worldwide ; Check Day-Wise Earnings Report

Karuppu Box Office Collection Day 4: Suriya and Trisha Krishnan-starrer Karuppu continued its successful theatrical run on Day 4 despite the usual Monday decline. Directed by RJ Balaji, the fantasy action drama crossed the Rs 140 crore mark at the worldwide box office within four days of release and is now inching closer to the Rs 150 crore milestone globally. 

According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film collected Rs 14.30 crore net across 5,947 shows on its fourth day (Monday), registering a 49.6 percent drop from Rs 28.35 crore on the previous day (Sunday). With this, the total India net collection has reached Rs 82.30 crore, while the India gross stands at Rs 95.30 crore. Overseas, the film added Rs 4 crore gross on Day 4, taking its total overseas collection to Rs 47 crore. After four days, the worldwide gross collection now stands at Rs 142.30 crore.

The Tamil version continued to dominate the box office with Rs 12.10 crore net and 46 percent occupancy across 4,235 shows. Meanwhile, the Telugu version collected Rs 2.20 crore net from 1,712 shows with 25 percent occupancy. Overall occupancy for Day 4 stood at 40 percent.

Karuppu also marks the reunion of Suriya and Trisha after their 2005 film Aaru. The cast also includes Yogi Babu, Indrans, Sshivada, Swasika, Natty, Supreeth Reddy and Anagha Maya Ravi in key roles, while RJ Balaji plays the antagonist Baby Kannan.
