Days after he joined the shooting of Karan Johar's Jug Jugg Jeeyo, actor and host Maniesh Paul has also been diagnosed with COVID-19. The development comes on the heels of Varun Dhawan and Neetu who are part of the film also being infected with the virus. As per a report by TOI, the actor returned to Mumbai sometime back and was feeling feverish thereafter. It was only after that he took the test and unfortunately the results came out positive. While, Neetu Kapoor returned to Mumbai in an air ambulance, Varun is said to have quarantined himself.

 The other stars of the film, Kiara Advani and Anil Kapoor has tested negative in their tests. Talking about Jug Jugg Jeeyo, it features Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Maniesh Paul and Prajakta Koli in the lead roles. Earlier, it was reported that the shooting of the film will be stopped till mid December. The movie has been produced by Karan Johar under the banner of Dharma Productions. Meanwhile, Varun and Kiara’s first look from the same has already been unveiled on social media
