Popular dubbing artiste and singer Ghantasala Ratnakumar, the son of late legendary singer Ghantasala, breathed his last after suffering a massive heart attack in Chennai today. He had been admitted to a hospital in Chennai after he has tested positive for the novel coronavirus. He did recover from the virus, but was suffering from kidney ailments undergoing dialysis treatment. As a dubbing artiste, Ratnakumar lent his voice to more than 1000 movies in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi. He has also dubbed for many Telugu and Tamil television serials and cartoons. 

He has nearly 50 documentaries to his credit as a dubbing artist. Ratnakumar hold the India Book of Record for dubbing eight hours non-stop. He has already entered the Amazing World Records and Tamil Nadu Book for Records. He also worked as a dialogue writer for Aata Arambham and Veerudokkade, etc. Ghantasala Ratnakumar is the son of legendary singer Ghantasala Venkatewararao. The singer and his two wives are parents to four daughters and four sons. Ghanatasala Ratnakumar is his second son. Ratnakumar's demise has sent shockwaves across the entertainment industry.
