In a distressing incident, 8-year-old Mark Shankar, the youngest son of Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, was injured in a fire accident at his school in Singapore on Tuesday. The young boy sustained injuries to his hands and legs and is currently experiencing respiratory distress due to smoke inhalation. Mark Shankar has been hospitalized and is receiving medical treatment at a local hospital in Singapore. His condition is being closely monitored by medical professionals. At the time of the accident, Pawan Kalyan was on an official tour in the Alluri Sitarama Raju district. Despite the alarming news, the Deputy CM has decided to complete his scheduled commitments before flying to Singapore.

He will head to Singapore from Visakhapatnam in the afternoon after concluding his visit to the district, as confirmed by the Jana Sena Party on X (formerly Twitter).The Deputy CM’s planned visit to the zoo park and scheduled review meetings in Vizag city have been canceled due to the emergency. Although party officials and leaders advised Pawan Kalyan to shorten his tour and travel immediately to Singapore, he chose to honor his prior commitments. “I had promised the tribals of that village yesterday that I would visit Kuridi village near Araku. So I will go to that village, talk to them, and find out the problems there,” Pawan Kalyan stated, as per a tweet from the Jana Sena Party. Mark Shankar, born on October 10, 2017, to Pawan Kalyan and his wife Anna Lezhneva, is currently pursuing his education in Singapore. The family has requested privacy during this challenging time, as they focus on Mark’s recovery.
