Recently, actor-businessman Raj Kundra revealed he has transitioned from being a ‘borderline atheist’ to embracing Sikhism and how his inclination towards spirituality has left wife Shilpa Shetty pleased.
In a recent video, Raj Kundra was seen sporting a white turban. The actor shared that there was a time when he had little to no belief in God. He revealed being an individual who believed that life was run by karmic deeds and it did not involve any divine intervention. However, Kundra’s outlook towards life has now changed. The actor has embraced Sikhism, which has provided him with a sense of deeper connection and belonging.
Raj Kundra also joked about his wife Shilpa Shetty’s reaction to his spiritual transition. Revealing that the actress was supportive, he jokingly added that her reaction was, “_Chalo, mera pati line par toh aaya!_ (Atleast, my husband is on the right path now!)” Kundra revealed that Shilpa Shetty embraced his transition with pride and affection. He also praised her faith in God, mentioning how she follows all the religious traditions and rituals with deep faith. He added that the actress has been more devout than him all his life.
