Ram Charan’s Peddi has quickly become one of the most eagerly anticipated Indian films since its announcement, generating massive excitement across the country. Starring Janhvi Kapoor and Jagapathi Babu in key roles, the film has ensured that every update released so far has sparked strong worldwide attention and buzz.

With just three days left for the trailer launch, the makers recently shared a special Instagram video featuring Ram Charan and director Buchi Babu Sana enjoying a drive together in a car. In the clip, Buchi Babu Sana speaks about how, despite their packed schedules, Ram Charan took him out for a drive and created memorable moments during the shoot. Ram Charan, in turn, is seen thanking him for the experiences and affectionately reminding fans about the film’s release date, June 4, as well as the trailer drop on May 18.

Buchi Babu Sana also expressed his admiration, saying, “Peddi is going to be amazing. Me, Charan sir and the entire team, worked with all our hearts on this film. The main focus was always the story. Even though Charan sir is such a huge star hero, he kept all that aside and said yes to the story. Peddi is a film that will come close to your hearts. ”

The video’s caption read, ““Driving through memories and moments of #PEDDI ❤️”Ft. #PEDDI and #THALA ❤️‍🔥Full Drive Out today 💥Peddi in cinemas worldwide on 4th June.#GetReadyForPeddi 💥💥”

Even ahead of its theatrical arrival, Peddi is already making waves across global markets with its growing momentum. The film witnessed an explosive start in North America, where advance sales reportedly surged past the $100K mark within just a few hours of bookings opening, highlighting the extraordinary demand and strong overseas anticipation.

The buzz around the project has only intensified further after celebrated director Sukumar visited the sets, where he interacted with Ram Charan and Buchi Babu Sana. His reaction was reportedly full of praise for the film’s scale and creative ambition.

Meanwhile, Ram Charan’s striking on-screen transformations, ranging from a grounded village cricketer to the fierce and powerful Peddi Pehlwan, have become a major talking point among fans. The film’s music has also amplified its reach, with A. R. Rahman’s “Chikiri Chikiri” crossing the remarkable 200 million view milestone, while “Rai Rai Raa Raa” continues its strong run with over 68 million views on YouTube. With each new update fueling wider anticipation, Peddi is steadily shaping up to be one of the most talked-about cinematic events on the horizon.

Written and directed by Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi stars Ram Charan in the titular role alongside Shiva Rajkumar, Janhvi Kapoor, Divyendu Sharma, and Jagapathi Babu. Produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under his banner Vriddhi Cinemas, in collaboration with Mythri Movie Makers, the film continues to build massive anticipation across audiences. Peddi will be released in North India by Jio Studios following the grand success of Dhurandhar and Raja Shivaji. The film will have its premiere across the world on June 3, 2026, followed by its worldwide theatrical release on June 4, 2026.
