On Monday morning, Ranbir and Alia were snapped at Mumbai airport as they headed to Maldives post recovering from COVID 19. The couple was seen making their way out of the city amid the surge in COVID 19 cases. Alia recently recovered from COVID 19 and Ranbir battled the virus last month. Alia was seen clad in a white sleeveless jacket with comfy matching pants and a yellow crop top. The Brahmastra star is also seen masking up in a black mask as she headed out with her beau post recovering from COVID 19. On the other hand, Ranbir is seen slaying the classic look in a white tee and blue denim jeans. The Shamshera actor also was seen sporting a black mask with a backpack as he headed out with Alia. Both stars were seen sporting shades. As shootings are currently halted in Mumbai due to the rise in Covid-19 cases, many celebrities are taking off to safer tourist destinations to spend their holiday.

Earlier, celebrities like Sara Ali Khan, Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani also jetted off to the Maldives for vacation. After Ranbir Kapoor recovered from Covid-19, Alia Bhatt tested positive for the virus on April 2. She was in home quarantine and tested negative for coronavirus on April 14. To announce that she is now Covid-negative, the actress posted a new sunkissed photo of herself. She wrote, "the only time being negative is a good thing (sic)." In the picture, she is seen wearing a tie-and-dye jumper with her pink pyjamas. Alia Bhatt will be next seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Gangubai Kathiawadi. The film is scheduled to release on July 30. The actress also has Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra, alongside Ranbir Kapoor. Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy also play pivotal roles in the film. Apart from these, she will also be seen in SS Rajamouli's RRR, Darlings, under her home production, Eternal Sunshine Productions, and Karan Johar's Takht. Ranbir Kapoor, on the other hand, has Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal with Parineeti Chopra. He also has Luv Ranjan's yet-to-be-titled film with Shraddha Kapoor.
