Recently, a video of Ranveer went viral on social media where he was seen standing on the top of his car on the street. He was seen greeting his fans who were screaming out his name in joy after seeing him. The actor was spotted wearing a grey hoodie and shorts, gesturing to scores of people surrounding his car. Ranveer while interacting with his fans, gestures to the crowd that they should make sure to sanitise their hands and maintain hygiene during the pandemic.

Ranveer plays former captain Kapil Dev while Deepika also plays his on-screen wife, Romi.He also has Jayeshbhai Jordaar in the pipeline. The actor will be seen as a street smart Gujarati salesman in the film.
