In a major development, actress Rhea Chakraborty has confessed to the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) that she procured drugs but never consumed them. Rhea was grilled by the agency for more than six hours.The actress said that whatever drugs came into the house were only for Sushant, and she never consumed any of those. Though the actress hasn’t been arrested, according to the statement issued by her lawyer earlier, she was ready to be handcuffed and go through any blood test to prove that she never took any drugs.
During her interrogation, there was cross-questioning happened between Rhea, her bother Showik Chakraborty, Susant's house help Dipesh Sawant and late actor's home manager Samuel Miranda as per a Times Now Report. The 28-year-old arrived at the agency's office in the Ballard Estate area at 12 noon and is about to leave anytime. She is likely to be summoned by NCB tomorrow for the second round of questioning. Earlier, Rhea’s brother Showik Chakraborty and other alleged suspects have also mentioned that they have procured drugs for Sushant. Meanwhile, Sushant Singh Rajput’s house help, Dipesh Sawant was presented in front of the court today. In his statement, he mentioned about the actor taking drugs and saying to quit Bollywood. Reportedly, Dipesh will remain in custody till September 9th.
