Days after allegations of drug being at the center of the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, emerged with Rhea being at the centre of controversy, the actress denied news of she being at the forefront of a drug cartel. The 28-year old actress, in her interview with India Today denied that she ever talked to Gaurav Arya about drugs. The actress said that while she knew Gaurav, the conversation about drugs never happened.When asked if Rhea Chakraborty talked to Gaurav about drugs, she said, I deny the contents of the conversation with Gaurav, I knew Gaurav, but this conversation didn't happen, and I would like to reserve the rest for the investigation.” On the other hand, hotelier Gaurav Arya, who is named in the 'drug chat', has denied the allegations levelled against him. Arya stressed that he never met Sushant but had met Rhea three and a half years back.
Talking about her conversation with Jaya Saha, Rhea said, “As far as Jaya is concerned, I didn't add anything to Sushant's coffee, maybe he himself added it.“It is unfortunate that we have to speak about someone's vices when they are no more. Yes, he smoked marijuana. He used to do it since before he met me. Even during the time of Kedarnath, he used to smoke. But he is that kind of a man. I tried to stop him. But he would do what he liked. If he wanted to take medicines, he would, if he wanted to smoke, he would.”The Sonali Cable actress also revealed that she has never consumed any drugs and is ready for a blood test. Meanwhile, Sushant's sister Shweta Singh Kirti took to social media to slam Rhea for her interview. In a series of tweets, Shweta slammed the 'Jalebi' actress for tarnishing her late brother's image on national media. Even Ankita Lokhande took to social media and in a long post denied Rhea's claims about Sushant.
