After the tragic demise of Sushant Singh Rajput, his actress girfriend has been on the firing line with many blaming the actress for the death of the Kedarnath actor. Now, in a interview to India Today the actress, spoke about the reason why she said ‘sorry babu’ when she saw the mortal remains of Sushant in the mortuary. Commenting on the same, she asked what else is someone supposed to say after someone has lost their life? She further said that she was sorry that he lost his life and his death has been made into a joke.
The actress also spilled the beans on her visit to the hospital to see Sushant for the last time. She said that she saw his body for 3-4 seconds as it was being transferred to the van from the mortuary for his funeral. She touched his feet as a mark of respect and added that any Indian can understand that why would touch someone's feet at such time. Speaking about her not being able to attend the funeral, Rhea said that she was all ready to go but her industry friends told her not to go as his family doesn't want her there. She would only be insulted and be asked to leave from there.
She even said that one of her friends told her to see Sushant’s body for the last time because she will not get closure and it will be hard to accept the fact that he is no more. With several allegations and claims made against Rhea Chakraborty in connection to Sushant Singh Rajput's mysterious demise, the actress today took to social media to share a glimpse of the crowd that gathered inside her building compound. Post the incident, she asked the Mumbai Police to provide protection to her family as their life is under threat.
