The process of Rhea Chakraborty's arrest by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) is underway after three days of questioning in connection with drugs-related allegations in the Sushant Singh Rajput case.The 28-year-old actor, named as an accused in the CBI investigation into Sushant Singh Rajput's death on June 14, had denied consuming drugs. Her brother Showik was arrested last week. According to a Times Now report, the Jalebi actress, will be undergoing a medical examination. at a Government hospital. On day three of her interrogation by the Narcotics Control Bureau, Rhea Chakraborty admitted that she was consuming not just marijuana, but also hard drugs
Rhea blamed Sushant and his circle of friends for consuming drugs and she also denied she consumed drugs when confronted with Samuel Miranda. However, sources said that Samuel Miranda was the one who gave the drugs to her which she then claimed to give to Sushant. Meanwhile, her brother Showik Chakraborty along with Sushant Singh Rajput’s manager Samuel Miranda is already under NCB’s custody till September 9. In her statements to the NCB, Rhea has reportedly provided names of several actors, directors and producers who are allegedly related to a drug cartel. The report also added that the agency is expected to start issuing summons to the celebs, after proper verification.
