In the third round of questioning by the ED, Sushant's former manager Shruti Modi has alleged that Rhea made all financial and professional decisions on behalf of the late actor. She also denied having any knowledge bout financial irregularities and illegal transactions. Continuing further she said, that she had very limited interaction with Sushant after February 2020 as the professional relationship between them got over. Earlier, Sushant’s family too had alleged the same. According to them, Rhea had started controlling Sushant's life completely, be it professionally or financially.
The ED has reportedly filed a case of money laundering against Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik Chakraborty, their parents Indrajit Chakraborty and Sandhya Chakraborty after Sushant’s father KK Singh filed a complaint against them accusing them of siphoning off Rs 15 crore from the late actor's bank account. After the initial two rounds of questioning by the Enforcement Directorate, Sushant Singh Rajput’s former manager Shruti Modi has arrived for the third round at the ED office. Shruti has also been named as one of the accused in the FIR filed by CBI.
