Actor Saiyami Kher recently took to Instagram to share an emotional and deeply personal note as she wrapped up shooting for filmmaker Vikram Phadnis’ untitled upcoming film, which also stars Tahir Raj Bhasin and Vineet Kumar. Reflecting on the journey, Saiyami expressed gratitude for being trusted with yet another author-backed role, calling the film “especially close” to her heart. The actor, known for choosing emotionally rich and performance-driven projects, praised Vikram Phadnis for creating a filmmaking environment filled with warmth, honesty and care.

Sharing her thoughts on Instagram, Saiyami wrote, “A very overdue post... but some experiences need time before you find the words for them :) As actors, we spend so much of our lives hoping for parts that move us, challenge us and stay with us long after the film ends. And somehow, I've been incredibly lucky that some truly special filmmakers have trusted me with author backed roles in films Choked, 8am Metro, Ghoomer, Mirzya ... and now this one.

This (untitled) film is especially close to my heart because @vikramphadnis thought I was worthy of being part of something so personal to him. He has made it with so much honesty and love. I have never seen a director who is so deeply involved in every tiny detail. From personally shopping for the costumes, sitting on every word, to managing dates, finding locations and hosting the best wrap party I have gone to. But what makes Vikram truly special is the heart he brings to a set. So happy to work with good human beings. A rarity these days. He looks after the entire unit like family.

There's so much warmth, kindness and care in the environment he creates and behind all this glamour is someone who works unbelievably hard. And then @ozajay... who I have such immense respect for, doing the hell race (160kms!) and giving just that level of dedication & love to this film. Thank you for making words and silence look so beautiful on screen.

Working with Tahir Raj Bhasin, Vineet Kumar, Manish Paul, Suchi Pillai and all the starcasts was such a joy. Such secure and giving actors. Tahir and Vineet are both actors who I have greatly admired and I have always wanted to work on something meaningful with them, they made my job so much easier.

Of course a film can't be made without a super hardworking team. The backbone of any film!I leave this film with a full heart and immense gratitude. For the people, the memories, the learning... and for yet another opportunity to play a part that truly matters to me. Thankyou @vikramphadnis”

Saiyami’s note offered a rare glimpse into the emotional bond and collaborative spirit shared by the cast and crew during the making of the film. Along with applauding Vikram Phadnis’ passion and attention to detail, the actor also expressed admiration for cinematographer Jay Oza’s dedication and praised co-stars Manish Paul and Suchitra Pillai for making the experience memorable. The untitled film has already generated curiosity among audiences, especially with a powerful ensemble cast and Saiyami describing it as one of her most meaningful creative journeys yet.
