KGF director, Prashanth Neel's Salaar featuring Prabhas and Shruti Haasan will release on April 14, 2022. The announcement was made by the lead stars on social media. A new poster was unveiled by the makers of Salaar. Salaar will be a pan-Indian film and will be releasing in multiple languages. An official announcement regarding the rest of the cast and crew will be out soon. Salaar is an action saga and is bankrolled by KGF producer Vijay Kiragandur. Prabhas will be seen in never before avatar. The film was officially announced with a customary puja in December 2020 in Hyderabad. The makers recently wrapped up the first schedule of the film.

It is said that the Salaar team is in talks with Bollywood actor John Abraham for the film. Reportedly, he will play a negative role in the film. Meanwhile, Prabhas has Radhe Shyam, co-starring Pooja Hegde. Directed by Radha Krishna Kumar, the Pan-India romantic saga will release on July 30th. Prabhas will also be seen in Om Raut's Adipurush, co-starring Saif Ali Khan. The makers kickstarted the first schedule of the film recently in Mumbai. Besides Adipurush, Prabhas has also signed a project alongside Deepika Padukone, to be directed by Mahanati director Nag Ashwin.
