Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, who is currently in lockdown at his Panvel farmhouse, recently came forward to help the workers of the film industry amid the coronavirus outbreak. The Sultan star has now come forward to provide food items to the daily wage workers so that no one stays hungry during the lockdown phase. Baba Siddique took to his Twitter account and shared the update about the same. 

He posted the pictures of truck full of food items which were delivered for the workers. Sharing the same, he wrote, “Thank you @beingsalmankhan @tweetbeinghuman for your generous contribution towards the daily wage workers. You are always one step ahead of everybody when it comes to helping people and you have proved that yet again. (1/2).. Thank you @BeingSalmanKhan @tweetbeinghuman for joining us in our fight against #CoronaVirus and making sure no one sleeps hungry! (2/2)”

A few days back, Salman started transferring money to daily wage workers of the film industry who need the help badly.The actor had pledged to bear the expenses of 25,000 workers from the film industry. After Salman Khan has transferred the money, FWICE will evaluate other member workers and distribute money to them. It will also decide on how to help the members if the lockdown is extended.
