Actress Sameera Reddy of Musafir fame has tested positive for the novel coronavirus. Sameera shifted to Goa along with her husband, her two little children and her mother-in-law in July 2020. Her mother-in-law has thankfully tested negative. The actress has currently taken a sabbatical from Bollywood but is a full time mother, homemaker and a content creator. Sameera took to social media to announce that she has tested positive. She revealed that she is currently in home quarantine and is taking necessary precautions.
Earlier, Arjun Rampal also informed his fans that he has tested positive for COVID-19. The actor shared the update on his social media handles. Arjun is currently under home quarantine and following all the necessary protocols. The second wave of the novel coronavirus has hit India hard. Several Bollywood actors including Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif, Vicky Kaushal, Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar, Paresh Rawal, among others, have tested positive for the virus in the second wave. There is a massive rise in the number of Covid-19 cases in India. The state of Maharashtra, has by far, registered the highest number of virus cases. The government has imposed strict restrictions in certain states.
