Veteran actor Shabana Azmi who was admitted in Kokilaben Hospital after meeting with an accident has returned home post her a successful recovery. Shabana took to Twitter and shared updates about her heath and also thanking her fans for their prayers. Shabana wrote, "Thank you all for your prayers and wishes for my recovery. I'm back home now Thank you #Tina Ambani and Kokilaben Ambani hospital for the sterling care provided by the doctors' team and the nursing staff. I'm indebted and grateful"

For the unversed, the veteran actress met with an accident at Kumbhivali village ahead of Khalapur toll plaza on the Mumbai -Pune Express highway. She suffered a few injuries on her spine and head. During the time of the accident her husband and lyricst Javed Akhtar was also present as he sustained minor injuries. Check out Shabana Azmi's Twitter post here...
