Artists around the world have come forwards and contributed to various funds raised to tackle the pandemic. And now, the World Health Organization (WHO) will live stream an event of performances to raise funds. Stars around the world like John Legend, Elton John, Lady Gaga, David Beckham, Idris Elba and more will be joining the live event. Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and our desi girl Priyanka Chopra will be representing India. The event will broadcast on April 18.

The event will be hosted by popular talk show hosts like Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel. WHO has titled the event as 'ONE WORLD: TOGETHER AT HOME'. The whole world has come to a standstill due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus. Several countries have been locked down to curb the spread of the virus. Meanwhile, Bollywood has also stopped production of several movies.

Both Shah Rukh and Priyanka, have been doing their bit to raise awareness and contribute funds at an individual level in the fight against coronavirus pandemic. In March, Priyanka and her American singer husband Nick Jonas had announced that they had contributed to several charities to lend support to the ongoing battle against the coronavirus pandemic. Priyanka had taken to Twitter to announce that the couple has donated to organisations like the PM-CARES Fund, Unicef, Feeding America and Goonj among many others.
