The hype surrounding Sushant Singh Rajput's untimely demise refuses to die down with new revelations happening everyday. Now, Shruti Modi who was the business manager of the late actor, in her statement to the CBI reportedly said that both Sushant and Rhea would often consume marijuana together. According to a Bollywood Hungama report, Sushant and Rhea would often spend a lot of time on the terrace consuming marijuana. The report further adds that Samuel Miranda and Showik Chakraborty would also join the two in consuming drugs. However, the Jalebi actress time and again has refuted the allegations stating she has never consumed drugs during her lifetime.
Notably, in her interview with India Today, Rhea said, I have never resorting to drugs anytime and is willing to do a drug test. Even her lawyer Satish Maneshinde, in a statement, said: "Rhea has never consumed drugs in her life time. She's ready for a blood test any time."Enforcement Directorate had written to the Narcotics Control Bureau seeking their guidance in the drug angle in the case after drug related chats were retreived from Rhea's phone. Last week, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) joined the probe and a criminal case was filed against the actress and her brother under various sections. Sushant was found dead at his apartment in Mumbai on June 14. His family members have accused Rhea of giving him drugs surreptitiously. They claimed that she did so in order to control him and his finances. In a self-made video, his father KK Singh said in Hindi, “Rhea Chakraborty was giving poison to my son, Sushant, for a long time. She is his murderer. The investigating agency must arrest her and her associates.”
