Sikandar Box Office Collection Day 2: Salman Khan's Action Thriller Crosses Rs 55 Crore

Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna’s action-thriller Sikandar witnessed a strong surge in box office collections on its second day. The film, which released on March 30 after multiple delays, benefited from the Eid holiday. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Sikandar collected Rs 29 crore on Monday, boosting its total earnings to Rs 55 crore. The film had earned Rs 26 crore on its opening day, showing a positive trend as the festive season added to its appeal.

On Monday, the film recorded an overall Hindi occupancy rate of 24.60%. The morning shows saw 8.38% occupancy, while the afternoon and night screenings had 26.70% and 30.18%, respectively. Salman Khan’s Eid releases have consistently performed well at the box office, and Sikandar appears to be following the trend.

About the Film

Directed by A.R. Murugadoss, Sikandar marks Salman Khan’s return to the big screen after a brief hiatus. Originally slated for a 2024 release, the film faced multiple delays before hitting theaters this year. Murugadoss, known for Tamil hits like Thuppakki, Spyder, and Darbar, made his Bollywood debut with Ghajini in 2008.

The film features a strong ensemble cast, including Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, Sathyaraj, and Sharman Joshi. With positive audience reception and strong box office numbers, Sikandar is expected to continue its successful run in the coming days.
