The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has issued summons to actor Rhea Chakraborty, asking her to join the investigation today, in connection with the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput death case on Sunday. According to a Times Now report, the Jalebi actress has been told to report at the NCB office at 10:30 am. Not just the NCB officials but Mumbai police were also present at the venue. Reportedly, the team has come to serve the summons. "It depends upon her, as she has to join the investigation. She can come on her own or she can come with the team," Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) stated.
Yesterday, Sushant's cook Dipesh Sawant was arrested, on the basis of the digital evidence procured by the NCB. Meanwhile, Showik and Samuel have been remanded in NCB's custody till September 9. On the other hand, after the arrest of Showik Chakraborty, Rhea's father Lt Col (retd) Indrajit Chakraborty in a statement to India Today said, "Congratulations India, you have arrested my son, I'm sure next in the line is my daughter, and I don't know who is next thereafter. You have effectively demolished a middle-class family. But, of course, for the sake of justice everything is justified. Jai Hind."
