Actress Rhea Chakraborty, in her statement to Bandra police, said that Sushant Singh Rajput had ended his contract with Yash Raj Films, and had asked her to do the same. According to a news portal, in her statement Rhea revealed that Sushant Singh Rajput had ended his contract with the production house and had told her also to do the same.Sushant had worked in two YRF films - Shuddh Desi Romance (2013) and Detective Byomkesh Bakshy! (2015)
Sushant was also roped in for Shekhar Kapur's Paani, which was to be produced by Yash Raj Films however, the project did not work out.
