The Narcotics Control Bureau tightened their grip on Rhea Chakraborty and family after NCB raided her house in connection with the drug angle in the Sushant Singh Rajput case. The late actor's sister Shweta Singh Kirti, who has been demanding justice for her brother, appreciated the NCB’s efforts, who are probing the drugs angle. “Good going NCB... Thank You God. Folded hands #GreatStartNCB,” Shweta had shared on Twitter.Later, Showik also was taken to the headquarters by the NCB. Samuel Miranda was apparently detained under the provisions of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.
In the morning, Shweta had shared an endearing throwback photo of her late brother from the time when she returned from the US to see his film MS Dhoni: The Untold Story. Meanwhile, Abdul Basit Parihar and Zaid Vilatra were the two alleged drug peddlers who were nabbed by the NCB and one of them admitted to knowing Showik Chakraborty. As links to Showik and Samuel were established through Zain and Basit, today, both formers were taken by NCB for questioning. Zaid has also been taken into custody for 7 days by the NCB. The latest development is sure to add to the woes of the Chakraborty's who are under the lens post the tragic demise of Sushant Singh Rajput on June 14.
