Mission Mangal actress Vidya Balan  has said that speculating about why actor Sushant Singh Rajput took his life is unfair to him and his loved ones. The actress said, that people should now let Sushant rest in peace. Vidya also added that one needs to keep quiet and show some respect to the late actor. Speaking about nepotsim, Vidya acknowledged, that nepotism does exist but it has never come in her way. On the work front,  Vidya is gearing up for the release of her upcoming film Shakuntala Devi. The film’s trailer, unveiled last week, gave a sneak peek into the adventures of the protagonist and her love for numbers that she valued above everything else in her life. Shakuntala Devi also stars Sanya Malhotra, Amit Sadh, and Jisshu Sengupta.

Sushant died by suicide on June 14, at the age of 34. A debate around the treatment of outsiders in the film industry has been ignited in the aftermath of his demise. His funeral was held on June 15 which was attended by his family, friends and Bollywood counterparts. Fans of the actor have been protesting against Bollywood celebrities like Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt, Salman Khan, and Sonam Kapoor. Talking about Sushant, the late actor’s last on-screen appearance will be in the movie Dil Bechara that has been directed by Mukesh Chhabra. The movie is  an adaptation of John Green’s ‘The Fault in Our Stars.' The music for the romantic drama has been composed by AR Rahman.
