Vijay Varma Shares Picture of a Card, Drops Hint for Exciting New Project

Vijay Varma, the most exciting actor of his generation, has sparked widespread anticipation with his latest Instagram story. Known for his intense and layered performances that delve deep into complex characters, Vijay's tease hints at another game-changing project. What exactly is brewing with Excel Entertainment? Fans and critics are eagerly awaiting clues.

Vijay Varma dropped a bombshell on his Instagram story and wrote, "@excelmovies exciteddd about this oneđź’Łđź’Ł". Fans are losing it! What's cooking in this powerpacked reunion?

Every Vijay-Excel collaboration has been pure fire. In Gully Boy (2019), he played Moeen bhai, the conflicted friend and sometime mentor to Murad, a mechanic‑cum‑carjacker whose loyalty and inner turmoil made him one of the film’s most memorable supporting turns. In Mirzapur (Season 2 and beyond), he stepped into the shoes of the twin brothers Chote aka Shatrughan Tyagi and bade aka Bharat Tyagi, bringing a mix of rage, vulnerability, and dark ambition that added fresh intensity to the crime saga. And in Dahaad, he delivered a chilling, career‑defining performance as Anand Swarnakar, the seemingly gentle but deeply disturbed serial killer whose double life and predatory charm left audiences haunted

Each of these roles—Moeen, Chote and Bade Tyagi, and Anand—showcases Vijay’s skill at finding nuance in such roles, making him a perfect fit for Excel’s brand of bold, character‑driven storytelling. Now, with this new announcement, fans are speculating whether the project will lean into crime, thriller, or a fresh character‑centric drama.

Beyond this, Vijay's slate is stacked. He's gearing up for Nagraj Manjule's Matka King, a period-crime drama around the Matka gambling game, for Hansal Mehta's Family Business, which a high stakes corporate saga with family secrets where he will lock horns with Anil Kapoor. And he will also be seen in Lust Stories 3. Whatever this Excel venture turns out to be, it is almost certain to be another intense, layered performance from Hindi cinema’s most exciting actors.
