Amidst the devastating second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, India reported 3.52 lakh fresh coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours. This is the highest single-day spike registered since the onset of the pandemic.

A total of 3,52,991 new COVID-19 cases, 2,812 related deaths and 2,19,272 recoveries were reported in the last 24 hours, taking the total active cases to 28,13,658, as per the health ministry update on Monday morning.

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is playing a key role in the fight against the coronavirus. Salman Khan has stepped forward to take care of the Corona Warriors who are fighting in this battle. Salman has provided free meals to police and frontline workers working day and night. Khan has stepped out to distribute refreshments and meals to all these frontline workers, and a video of the same has gone viral.

In the video, Salman Khan can be seen wearing a red checkered shirt and blue jeans in the videot. In this video, he is trying his own food. He can also be seen tasting the food before sending it to the frontline workers. Salman Khan wore a mask after a food test following the rules and his entire team was seen following the rules. Salman Khan's food truck named 'Bing Hungry' has hit the road. 

Khan along with Rahul Kanal of Shiv Sena’s youth wing, distributed 5000 meal packets to frontline workers in Mumbai.Rahul also shared a video of Salman from the day and wrote on Twitter, "Big thank you @AUThackeray Ji @BeingSalmanKhan bhai for making this possible as team @yuvasenabandraw for reaching out our Frontline force... means a lot when bhai comes to keep a check on the supply and motivate the team to reach out to one and all... Jai Hind !!! Jai Maharashtra (sic)."
