Zendaya has dismissed viral images claiming to show her wedding to Tom Holland, clarifying that the widely circulated photos were created using artificial intelligence and are not real. Speaking on a recent episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the “Challengers” star said many people were initially convinced by the images and even approached her with congratulations.
“Many people have been fooled by them,” Zendaya said. “While I was just out and about in real life, people were like, 'Oh my God, your wedding photos are gorgeous,' and I was like, 'Babe they're AI. They're not real.”
She added that some acquaintances were even upset, believing they had not been invited to a supposed wedding. Zendaya said she had to clarify that no such ceremony had taken place.
Rumors about the couple intensified after stylist Law Roach suggested in an interview that the two “Spider-Man” co-stars had already married. However, Zendaya did not confirm any such development and said she was unaware of the speculation surrounding the headlines.
Zendaya and Holland, who have co-starred in Marvel’s “Spider-Man” films, have been the subject of frequent public interest regarding their relationship.
On the professional front, Zendaya continues a busy schedule, with upcoming projects including the HBO series Euphoria, the next installment of the sci-fi franchise Dune 3, and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
