Patralekhaa Reacts to Trolls Targeting Her Postpartum Weight Gain, Criticizes Paparazzi

Actor Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa welcome baby girl, she recently made her first public appearance since her daughter's birth.  On this occasion, she was wearing a matching co-ord set. However, she appeared to have gained a significant amount of weight. Consequently, netizens heavily trolled her on social media. Paparazzi deliberately captured her on camera and wrote articles specifically highlighting her weight gain. Now, Patralekhaa has expressed her outrage at both the paparazzi and the trolls, sharing a post to address the situation.

Sharing an Instagram Story, Patralekhaa wrote, "Paparazzi pages what exactly is wrong with me? I have just given birth to a baby. Yes, I have gained weight... perhaps this seems abnormal to all of you. But it’s not as if I’ve simply been sitting around and binge-eating. I gave birth to a baby, and simultaneously, I produced two films which is by no means an easy feat. If it were within my control, I wouldn't look this way. But this is simply how my body reacted post-pregnancy. Oh, for God's sake, at least learn to show a little kindness!"

Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra's film Toaster was released recently. Patralekhaa also makes a cameo appearance in this movie. That particular scene is currently going viral on social media. Patralekhaa was last seen in the film Phule, in which she portrayed the role of Savitribai Phule. Her performance in the film garnered widespread acclaim.

Rajkummar and Patralekhaa tied the knot on November 15, 2021. Four years after their marriage, they welcomed their first child. The couple has named their daughter Parvati Paul Rao.
