Harsh Vardhan holds videoconference meeting with RWAs

With the entire country under a nationwide lockdown due to the coronavirus scare, Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan on Saturday held a videoconference meeting with RWAs across Delhi and advised for adherence to social distancing norms.

New Delhi, April 18 With the entire country under a nationwide lockdown due to the coronavirus scare, Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan on Saturday held a videoconference meeting with RWAs across Delhi and advised for adherence to social distancing norms.

Senior officials were also present during the videoconference meeting, during which the Minister informed the Resident Welfare Associations' office-bearers about the steps taken by the Centre to tackle coronavirus and asked them to advise their respective RWA members to remain indoors.

He also directed officials to work to mitigate the problems of the Delhi residents.

Harsh Vardhan also urged the people to put on face masks whenever going in public and follow other do's and don'ts to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

The Union Minister also said that he would hold a videoconference meeting with state health ministers in the evening.
