Experts have advised residents to stay hydrated, avoid direct sunlight during peak afternoon hours, and consume cooling foods and drinks regularly to prevent dehydration and heat-related fatigue. 

1. Aam Panna (Raw Mango Cooler)

Ingredients:

  • 2 raw mangoes

  • 4 tablespoons jaggery or sugar

  • 1 teaspoon roasted cumin powder

  • Black salt as per taste

  • Fresh mint leaves

  • 3 glasses of chilled water

Recipe:

  • Pressure cook or boil raw mangoes until soft.

  • Peel the skin and extract the pulp carefully.

  • Blend the pulp with jaggery or sugar until smooth.

  • Add roasted cumin powder, black salt, and mint leaves.
