The Hague, March 3 An explosion occurred near a Covid-19 testing centre in the town of Bovenkarspel in the Netherlands on Wednesday morning, police said.

The blast caused no casualties, but it did shatter windows, reports Xinhua news agency.

The explosion of a metal pipe outside the building occurred at 6.55 a.m., when the centre was closed.

According to the police, the testing centre was probably the target.
