Foreign affairs expert Fareed Zakaria believes blaming China for the coronavirus that has wrecked havoc will do nothing. In a video by CNN the American born journalist says, the two leading countries should come together and fight the pandemic rather than playing the blame game. Fareed began his conversation with a tweet from Donald Trump which stated "China has been working very hard to contain the coronavirus. The United States greatly appreciates their efforts and transparency. It will all work out well, in particular on behalf of the American people I want to thank President Xi."

Fareed questions as what the world, including President Trump, know about the virus at that point when the tweet was released from the official handle of Trump. Continuing further the noted journalist also spoke as to how a day before the tweet, how WHO had  warned all countries about the virus and advised on measures about ways to tackle the virus. Meanwhile, China had announced the virus was being transmitted among human beings and begun locking down parts of Hubei province.

Fareed questions Trump with his hard hitting analysis but also targets China for covering up the pandemic when it began. However, , none of it changes the fact that Donald Trump was well aware of the potential dangers of the virus by late January at a minimum and by mid-February at the latest. He made a judgment that the virus would not be a big problem for America, that it could go away in April with warm weather. And he apparently worried that taking strong actions against it would spook the stock market. It is those misjudgments that have significantly worsened the COVID-19 crisis in America. Now to deflect blame from himself, President Trump has decided to bash China. In the end in this battle of the mega titans it is the human life that seems to be more affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
