Tel Aviv [Israel], October 23 (ANI/TPS): Dozens of protected wild animals were evacuated from the animal corner in Kibbutz Kfar Giladi, located near the border with Lebanon in the north of Israel - by teams from the Nature and Parks Authority, the Ministry of Environmental Protection and the Ministry of Agriculture under military and police escort.

The decision was made to move the animals to a safer location as Israelis are being evacuated from the area due to increased possibilities of a larger conflict with Hezbollah.

Dozens of animals, including goats, goats, donkeys, rabbits and other small animals such as hamsters, were transferred last Thursday from Kfar Giladi to the monkey shelter in the Ben Shemen forest and to the Gatenio farm. (ANI/TPS)
