More than 150 National Guard deployed during the swearing-in ceremony of US President Joe Biden have tested COVID-19 positive. A U.S. official made the announcement on Friday. Violence erupted in the Capitol building by Trump supporters before Joe Biden's swearing-in ceremony. Security was then tightened before the swearing-in ceremony. On January 20, Joe Biden sworn in as President of the United States. He has become the 46th President of the United States.

Checkpoints were set up outside the White House. Also, more than 25,000 security guards were deployed in the city. Several of the security guards deployed in the city have been found to be corona positive. The number could rise, a US official told Reuters on condition of anonymity. He was screened before the deployment of security guards. Body temperature was also observed. The military has said arrangements are being made for thousands of troops to return home, and that about 15,000 are expected to leave Washington within the next five to 10 days.

Some 7,000 National Guard personnel are expected to stay at least through the end of the month, officials have said. A smaller number of troops could stay longer.
