Pakistan Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhary admitted that he slapped a TV anchor for linking him with a Tik Tok artist. According to reports, the incident happened at a wedding when the TV anchor Mubasher Lucman linked Chaudhary with Hareen Shah. The minister however defended his move during his interaction with the media.  Chaudhary said, he was a human first before anything else. "Ministries come and go, I will not tolerate personal attacks, we are all human beings and will react when someone makes such false allegations.''

After news of the slapping incident went viral on social media, Chaudhary slammed the TV anchor and called him a sham journalist on Twitter. Chaudhary retweeted a news article on the altercation with the caption, "People like Mubashir Lucman have nothing to do with journalism... and it's everyone's duty to expose him.'' Speaking on Lucman's show, a fellow anchor Rai Saqib Kharal had claimed that there were several inappropriate videos of Mr. Choudhary in possession of Tik Tok star Hareem Shah. This is not the first time that Choudhary has landed himself in controversy with a TV anchor. In June last year he slapped a host Sami Ibrahim at a wedding.
