The 30-year-old female counselor sexually abused a 14-year-old boy in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The woman became pregnant after having illicit sexual relations with the minor. She later gave birth to a baby boy.
The accused has been identified as Daniel Hook, who sexually abused the minor. The case came to light when the woman gave birth to her baby. Until then, no one knew anything about it. In court, the victim's lawyers said Daniel Hook gave birth to a baby after sexually exploiting a minor. This was revealed after a DNA test that proved the teenager was the baby's father.
In March 2020, police arrested the woman for sexually abusing a minor. After which the woman was produced in court. The woman was convicted in court last Wednesday.Earlier, the woman had sought a written apology in court for sexually abusing a minor. According to the Iowa Department of Human Services, Daniel Hook sexually abused a 14-year-old boy from July 1, 2017 to November 30, 2018.
