Washington DC [US], April 17 : US President Donald Trump, during an Easter prayer service and dinner on Wednesday, highlighted his administration's achievements over the past three months, calling it possibly "the best three months ever for a president."

He also reaffirmed his commitment to restoring America's global stature and domestic prosperity.

"With God's grace over these past three months, we've had great three months, maybe the best three months ever for a president and the administration. There is a whole new respect for our country. Our country was not respected five, six months ago," Trump said.

At the beginning of his speech, Trump acknowledged the presence of Patty Morin, referring to her as an "Angel Mom." Morin, whose daughter Rachel Morin was murdered by an illegal immigrant in 2023, delivered an emotional account of her daughter's death during a White House press briefing on Wednesday (US local time).

"We're all with you, a hundred per cent. You are indeed an angel Mom," Trump told Morin in a gesture of support.

Speaking about the upcoming US elections, Trump called November 5th "one of the most important days in the history of the United States."

"We're restoring our prosperity, securing our borders, rebuilding the US military," he said.

He also expressed solidarity with persecuted Christians around the world. "We're standing for Christians that have been persecuted all over the world and defending religious liberty. Nobody's fighting for our Christians in other parts of the world," he said.

Trump spoke about the establishment of the White House Faith Office and a task force aimed at eradicating "anti-Christian bias."

He also spoke about the issue of education and criticised what he described as radical indoctrination in schools.

The US President also told the gathering how he has created the White House Faith Office and a task force to eradicate "anti-Christian bias."

"We're stopping the radical indoctrination in our schools," he said. Noting that the US spends the most money per pupil across the world, yet ranks low in the ratings, Trump underscored, "Yet it is Denmark, Norway, Sweden, even China, does very well in the top 10, so we can't blame it on the size. We're big, China's really big, and we're going to be there soon when states run their education department instead of some bureaucrat in Washington. It's going to make it very big."

On gender identity, Trump reiterated his administration's stance, saying, "I signed an executive order making it official and the official policy of the United States that God created two genders- male and female."

As he concluded, Trump said, "There is so much to celebrate this Easter, I hope this will be one of the great easters ever because we have something going that I don't think this country has seen in a hundred years."

"With God's help we can overcome any challenge, triumph over every evil, and restore the spirit of faith in the United States for generations to come. We have a very simple slogan- Make America Great Again and that's exactly what we are doing," he said.
