US-Israel-Iran War LIVE Updates: Trump Says Worst-Case Scenario in Iran ‘If Someone as Bad Comes In,’ Claims US Strikes Are ‘Going Very Well’

Hello! Welcome to today's live updates and breaking news from around the world. Just let us take you to the quick highlights from the US-Israel attack on Iran: Heavy sheltering from Israel on Iran's state TV broadcaster and other areas in Tehran was reported on Monday. Iran's Revolutionary Guard warned ships from crossing the Strait of Hormuz and said they will face attack.

At least six US military soldiers have been killed in Iran's retaliation strikes across the Middle East, according to USA officials. Gulf nations, including Qatar and Saudi Arabia, condemned Iranian attacks on their territory and wrote letters to the UN Secretary-General and the president of the UN Security Council. Iran fired drones at the US embassy in Riyadh, resulting in fire and a blast, promoting authorities to issue shelter in place for the US mission in KSA. Trump Suggests Iran Should Be Led by Insider Rather Than Reza Pahlavi After US-Israel War

US President Donald Trump said it might be preferable for someone from within Iran, rather than Reza Pahlavi, the son of the late shah, to assume leadership once the US-Israel war on Iran concludes.

“He [Pahlavi] seems like a very nice person. But it seems to me that someone from within might be better” to take over, Trump told reporters while meeting German Chancellor Friedrich Merz at the White House.

He also described his worst-case scenario in the campaign against Iran as a situation in which a new leader as severe as the late Ayatollah Ali Khamenei takes power.

“I guess the worst case would be, we do this, and then somebody takes over who’s as bad as the previous person, right?” said Trump.
“That could happen. We don’t want that to happen.”
