Holi was celebrated with great enthusiasm across the country yesterday. However, this time, colors accidentally fall on vehicles and or gulal flies. If you also have a strong Holi color on your vehicle and it does not come off, there is no need to worry. With some simple home remedies, you can make your vehicle shine like before.

Use of warm water: If there is dried gulal or light color on the vehicle, do not delay too much to remove it. First, use warm water to remove the top layer of the vehicle. Then mix a little detergent in warm water and dip a soft cloth or sponge in this solution and gently wipe the stained area. Importantly, avoid rubbing vigorously, otherwise scratches may occur on the vehicle. Finally, wipe the car dry with a microfiber cloth.

What to do for stubborn stains?

Some colors are very strong, which do not come off with plain water. In such cases, baking soda or vinegar can be useful. Mix a little water in baking soda and apply it on the stain for 15-20 minutes. Then wipe with a soft cloth. Spray the stain with a mixture of equal parts water and vinegar. If absolutely necessary, you can use non-gel toothpaste or rubbing alcohol, but be sure to test it on a small area of the car before using it.

Important Tip: Special auto cleaners are available in the market to remove vehicle stains. Read the instructions on the product before using it, so as not to damage the car's paint. Do not use harsh chemicals or rough cloths. Microfiber cloths are the safest for your vehicle. If the stains are very old or stubborn and do not come off with home remedies, consult a specialist.
