Low Weight, Low Energy? Here’s How to Check If You’re Actually Healthy
Being underweight and lacking energy defeats the purpose of weight loss. Today's obsession with weight often overshadows true fitness, with many focusing solely on shedding pounds rather than overall well-being. But if you lose a lot of weight and your fitness decreases just as much, then it's of no use. Celebrity nutritionist Rujuta Diwekar shared a post on this topic, explaining how to recognize if you are truly healthy.
How to know if you are healthy?
In the post that Rujuta Diwekar shared on social media, she mentioned three things. If you can easily do these three things, then understand that you are healthy, fit, and well.
The first thing she mentioned is your capacity. For example, a few months ago, you would get breathless climbing stairs, but then you started exercising. Your weight didn't decrease much due to that exercise, but now you don't get breathless even after climbing and descending stairs. If something like this happens to you, then your capacity has definitely increased compared to before. Your fitness has improved. Check your capabilities in this way.
Secondly, your immunity has improved, reducing fatigue and illness from exertion. You're also falling ill less often. Applying a milk hair mask will make your hair shiny and silky. Furthermore, needing fewer medications indicates better health. Finally, Rujuta advises ignoring comments about your body, as you know your own fitness level best.
