Shab-e-Barat is a spiritually significant nights in the Islamic calendar, which is observed on 15th night of Sha’ban. This night is considered a time when fates are decided, sins are forgiven, and God's mercy is generously given to those who truly ask for forgiveness. People spend the night in special prayers, reading the Quran, praying with deep emotion, and honoring deceased relatives.
Giving to charity, sharing sweets, and preparing spiritually for the month of Ramadan are also important. In addition to prayers and contemplation, many women and girls apply henna as a joyful and cultural way to get ready for this holy night. This year Shab-e-Barat will be observed on the night of February 13 and end on February 14. Many dishes are cooked to celebrate this auspicious day, but amongst them is pineapple halwa.
How to Make Pineapple Halwa?
Ingredients: 1/2 Rava, 1/2 cup chopped pineapple, 1/2 sugar, 2 cup water, 5 tsp ghee, 12-14 cashews, 1tsp raisin, pinch of cardamom, 1or 2 drops pineapple essence (if needed).
Method:
Heat pan, add ghee and then semolina and roast it on low flame. Then once you can smell the semolina add hot water and milk to semolina while stirring continuously. Once whole thing is done then then add chopped pineapple and slow cook till it completely mixed with the halwa and add sugar.

Note: Make sure that you are constantly stirring to avoid lumps.
