Preparations for Shiv Jayanti 2025 are in full swing across Maharashtra and the country. The birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, celebrated on Wednesday, February 19, will once again be commemorated at the historic Agra Fort for the third consecutive year. This year’s celebrations will be particularly special as Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal, known for his role as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj in the recently released film Chhawa, will be the chief guest. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde will also be present at the event. The announcement was made by Vinod Patil, President of Ajinkya Devagiri Pratishthan, the organisation spearheading the event.
