Excessive mobile phone and laptop use disrupts daily routines, leading to exhaustion and sleep disturbances. This condition, termed "Social Jetlag" by health experts, throws off the body's biological clock, impacting the sleep cycle.

Sound sleep is vital; research suggests that less than six hours of sleep increases the risk of dementia and Alzheimer's disease. Regulating the circadian rhythm through consistent sleep schedules is crucial for protecting against these health risks.

Good sleep is not merely for relaxation; it is absolutely vital for the physical repair and cognitive restoration of both the body and the brain. Just as a smartphone requires charging, our bodies, too, require a period of "recharging." Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev has provided detailed guidance on the measures one should take to ensure a good night's sleep.

What to Do for Good Sleep?

Consume fresh food and avoid fried items. Drink 5 to 6 liters of water daily, and engage in a workout routine every day without fail. Boosting one's immunity is also essential. To enhance immunity, spend half an hour in the sunlight daily, incorporate Vitamin C-rich foods into your diet, eat green leafy vegetables, drink turmeric milk at night, and practice yoga for half an hour every day.

Resolve Hypertension Issues

Drink plenty of water daily, minimize stress and anxiety, eat your meals on time, and strictly avoid consuming junk food. Incorporate heart-friendly ingredients—such as flaxseeds, garlic, cinnamon, and turmeric—into your daily diet. To maintain a healthy heart, consume bottle gourd soup, bottle gourd curry, or bottle gourd juice. To avoid sleep-related issues, exercise daily without fail, keep your weight under control, drink plenty of water, and refrain from consuming junk food. Do not take excessive painkillers.
