116 more policemen have tested positive for COVID-19 in Maharashtra, taking the total number of personnel affected by coronavirus in the state to 2,211 on Friday.

Out of the total, 25 have died due to the infection.

"In last 24 hours, 116 police personnel have tested positive for Coronavirus in Maharashtra and 3 personnel have died due to the virus. The total number of COVID-19 infected personnel is now 2,211 in the state and 25 have died so far," the police said.
